How to get to Janbal Gallery:
Janbal Gallery is at 5 Johnston Road Mossman, on the way to Mossman Gorge in Tropical North Queensland. We are Approximately 1.25 hours drive north of Cairns or 20 minutes drive north of Port Douglas along sealed bitumen roads.
You can get to Janbal Gallery by driving or catching a Sun Palm Bus.
Drive Yourself
If you are driving yourself, head north from Cairns along the Cook Highway, past the Rex Range and continue driving past Port Douglas and into Mossman. When you get to the township of Mossman you will go past a large Woolworths shopping centre on the left hand side of the road.
Turn left into Johnston Road at the blue street sign that says “Janbal Gallery”. It is just past this shopping centre.
You will see our gallery with Yiki People in the garden and signage on your right hand side. We are about four blocks from the corner, directly opposite the Mossman Bowls Club. Get turn by turn directions from Google maps.
Bus
Sun Palm Transport Group runs six daily bus services between Cairns, Port Douglas and Mossman.
You can also catch one of these buses to Mossman and Janbal Gallery is only a two minute walk from the bus stop. Please talk to your travel agent or visit Sun Palm’s website for transport bookings, prices and more information.
Things to do in Mossman
A trip to Janbal Gallery can be done in a day, but why not stay in Mossman, Port Douglas or the Daintree and experience a bit more of what Kuku Yalanji country has to offer.
