Paint Your Own and Learn How to Play the Didgeridoo Workshop
Participants have the opportunity to paint their own didgeridoo with the assistance and tuition of a local Kuku Yalanji artist – Binna.

What is involved:
A 3 hour "PAINT YOUR OWN AND LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE DIDGERIDOO WORKSHOP" includes:
An introductory story about the didgeridoo, its origins, history and an introduction to the various playing styles
Guidance in selecting the appropriate didgeridoo for each participant
A range of paints and brushes to create your own individual style on your new didgeridoo
On going tuition during the workshop by our artist in residence – Binna
A lesson on playing a simple drone tone
An introduction to the technique of circular breathing
The opportunity to have your new master piece post packed home (Extra charges apply)
PLEASE NOTE: In respect of traditional Aboriginal culture the learning to play and playing a didgeridoo is strictly a male activity.
A MAXIMUM OF 5 PEOPLE PER LESSON WILL BE CATERED FOR.
Who is it suitable for:
The didgeridoo workshop is suitable for all ages including children.
No previous art experience or musical ability is required at all.

Tuesday to Saturday – 10am to 5pm
Sunday and Monday by appointment

Workshop charges are: $165.00 - PER ADULT
$ 80.00 – PER CHILD (4yo – 16yo)
